Vintage Leather Barrette NA Indian Cherokee Hair Accessory.
Hand Painted Buffalo Heads on Large Leather Oval. Silver metal hair clip at back.
Measures 4.75 x 3.25 inches.
Featuring Brown and White Buffalo Heads on colorful Red, Blue and Yellow Background.
Signed "YUNSU"( word for Buffalo) and rimmed in Hand Beaded Black Beads. Handwritten legend on the inside of the attached note describes the white buffalo is for MEDICINE and the brown buffalo is for COMMON LIFE. Together they represent Harmony and Balance.
Made in Cherokee North Carolina by NATIVE SONS DESIGNS. Original hand written paper tag attached.
