Provenance:
My wife is a collector of Antique/Vintage Bells/Singing Bowls and similar items.  Her collection tends to lean more towards Buddhist Tibetan/Nepalese Style but solely.  She strives VERY HARD to avoid buying reproductions which she considers anything Post-1940 (ie. "Made In India" decals on underside) mainly for Tourism.   That is difficult to do sometimes of course.  This singing bowl fortunately came her Aunt in The Philippines whose mother (Wifes Grandmother) had it before WW2.   So, we do know it dates surely Pre-1945 and likely at least a couple decades before.   Most likely, because of its closeness to China, that is where this bowl probably originally hailed from by way of Tibet/Nepal originally.

Antique Brass Singing Bowl.
Compared to many singing bowls, especially ones made for tourists/souvenirs, they tend to have a lot going on in regards to decoration.   This one is a very simple plain handmade brass one that has a diameter of 4 3/4".   I am quite certain brass is the only metal it is made of.
The sound is just simply amazing!!
Pure and Clean with a "tang" sound when struck with wooden striker (cannot vouch originality of striker).   After struck, for those that know how to make it "sing" by slowly running the striker around the perimeter it creates such a unique tone.  Every bowl seems to sing in its own way but there is a similarity to some.   Perhaps its the age of this one, the amount of energy that it has absorbed, but after hearing MANY of them and being schooled by my wife I can VERY confident its next owner will truly appreciate its internal energy and history.  I am sure my photos will best further describe this item.
Stands 2 1/4" tall and weighs 14 ounces precisely.

On a scale of 1 - 10 (Ten being New in Package Only), I can confidently grade this item's condition to be a
solid N/A.
This is NOT an item that can be graded numerically like a matchbox car.  It does have no physical damage such as dents/cracks.  Everything about it is natural.  The more I look at the striker, I am 90% positive it is not original to the bowl.  That's a shame actually but its the bowl that matters and the person connecting with it.  My photos are an accurate depiction of this item's
